Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 Tbsp butter
  • Flour
  • 2 Cups chicken broth
  • Parsley
  • Salt

Directions

  1. Melt the butter over medium heat in a saucepan and add 1/3 cup flour all at once, mixing thoroughly with a wooden spoon.
  2. Cook for about 10 minutes over very low heat, stirring occasionally until the flour has taken a slight pale-yellow color. At this point, add the broth a spoon at a time and keep stirring until the sauce has started boiling again, then add more broth and so on.
  3. Finally, add some chopped parsley and salt. Simmer in all for about 20 minutes and then serve.
