Cream Sauce
Ingredients
- 3 1/2 Tbsp butter
- Flour
- 2 Cups chicken broth
- Parsley
- Salt
Directions
- Melt the butter over medium heat in a saucepan and add 1/3 cup flour all at once, mixing thoroughly with a wooden spoon.
- Cook for about 10 minutes over very low heat, stirring occasionally until the flour has taken a slight pale-yellow color. At this point, add the broth a spoon at a time and keep stirring until the sauce has started boiling again, then add more broth and so on.
- Finally, add some chopped parsley and salt. Simmer in all for about 20 minutes and then serve.
